Pride Health is hiring a Patient Care Coordinator to support our client’s medical facility in Braintree, MA 02184.This is a 3+ month contract assignment (Possibility of conversion or extension) and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!


Job Details:

  • Location: Braintree, MA 02184
  • Job Type: 3+ months(Possibility of extension or conversion)
  • Schedule:  Mon-Fri – 8:00-4:30 or  8:30-5:00
  • Pay Range: $20-23/hr. on W2

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.


Job Summary

The Patient Care Coordinator provides administrative and customer service support within a clinical department. This role is responsible for scheduling appointments, assisting patients throughout their visit, coordinating referrals and authorizations, maintaining accurate electronic medical records (EMR), and ensuring a positive patient experience while supporting clinical operations.


Specific Duties:

  • Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments.
  • Answer calls and assist with patient inquiries.
  • Coordinate referrals, prior authorizations, and medical documentation.
  • Greet patients and update demographics in the EMR.
  • Schedule follow-up visits and assist with check-out.
  • Complete patient forms and process prescription renewals.
  • Maintain records, prepare correspondence, and support reporting.
  • Deliver excellent customer service while ensuring HIPAA compliance.


Required Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of healthcare, clinical, or customer service experience.
  • Experience with EMR/EHR systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer applications.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and patient confidentiality.
