We are seeking compassionate and dependable candidates for entry-level Patient Care Technician opportunities.
Patient Care Technicians work alongside nurses and other healthcare professionals to assist with basic patient-care needs and help maintain a safe and comfortable patient environment.
Responsibilities
Assist patients with basic activities of daily living
Obtain and document basic vital signs as directed
Assist with patient mobility, positioning, and transport
Prepare patient rooms and maintain a clean care environment
Stock basic patient-care supplies
Answer patient call lights and communicate needs to nursing staff
Provide basic comfort and non-clinical patient assistance
Document assigned patient information accurately
Follow infection-prevention and safety procedures
Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality
Report changes or concerns to appropriate clinical staff
Basic Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
Current HIPAA training certificate required
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Ability to communicate professionally with patients and clinical staff
Ability to perform the physical duties associated with patient care
Reliable attendance and professional demeanor
Ability to follow safety, infection-control, and confidentiality procedures
Preferred Qualifications
CNA, PCT, nursing assistant, or healthcare-related training
