Baystate Health is hiring Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) across multiple inpatient departments at Baystate Franklin Medical Center in Greenfield, MA!

The Patient Care Technician Will:

• Provide compassionate patient care, assisting with daily activities, mobility, hygiene, and comfort.
• Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, and changes in patient condition.
• Assist with patient safety, treatments, and procedures.
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high-quality care.

Make a meaningful difference every day. As a Patient Care Technician, you'll play an important role in supporting patients and the teams caring for them.

Schedule Details

• Job Type: Full-Time, Part-Time & Per Diem
• Shift: Days, primarily 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Required Skills

• High School Diploma or GED
• BLS CPR Certification through the American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

• At least one year of patient care experience, including long-term care, specialty care, or acute care
• PCT training or CNA training

Typically, a new hire can expect a starting salary somewhere in the lower part of the range. Actual salaries may vary by position and will be determined based on the candidate's relevant experience. No employee will be paid below the minimum of the range. Pay ranges are listed as hourly for non-exempt employees and based on assumed full time commitment for exempt employees.
