Job Title: Patient Care Technician (PCT)
Location: Portland, OR
Job Type: 13-Week Contract
Shift: Night Shift | 5 x 8-Hour (10:00 PM – 6:30 AM) 

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join a long-term care/assisted living facility in Portland, OR. The ideal candidate will have prior experience caring for geriatric patients and be committed to providing compassionate, high-quality patient care. This role involves assisting residents with activities of daily living, monitoring patient conditions, and supporting the interdisciplinary care team.

Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of recent experience working with geriatric or senior patients (required).
  • 2 years of Patient Care Technician experience preferred.
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
  • Experience in acute care, long-term care, or assisted living preferred.
  • Experience with Epic or other electronic medical record systems preferred.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and patient care skills.
  • Ability to work every weekend (Wednesday–Sunday schedule).
Preferred Skills
  • Phlebotomy
  • 12-Lead ECG/EKG
  • Peripheral IV removal
  • Medication administration
  • Cerner experience
  • Experience in teaching hospitals, community hospitals, LTAC, or trauma settings
