Contract Details

• Position Type: Contract
• Contract Duration: 3 months
• Pay Rate: $20.00 $25.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Night shift (3x12 Hours); shift start time is 7:00 PM with flexibility to start four hours prior to or four hours after posted start time based on limited critical department need
• Travel Requirements: Accepts first timers
• Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Job Summary

This is a Patient Care Technician travel/contract position at a hospital facility in Worcester, MA. This is a surge/overflow position, so there might be floating required to care for patients within the ED area. The role is 36 hours per week and must be started on the posted date only.

Required Experience

• Must have experience working as a PCT; facility will also accept a CNA with a MA license in-hand
• 1 year of experience required
• MUST have Med Surg / Tele experience to be considered

Required Skills

• Charting in Epic
• Ability to float to care for patients within the ED area as needed (surge/overflow position)

Education Requirements

• Must be a qualified Patient Care Technician (PCT); facility will also accept a CNA with a MA license in-hand
• BLS certification required
• MA state credentials/license required (CNA with MA license accepted in lieu of PCT experience)

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Weekend requirement: Every Other Weekend / Every Other Holiday (EOW/EOH)
• Floating may be required to care for patients within the ED area (surge/overflow position)
• Facility allows 1 of the 3 major upcoming holidays in RTO
• Flu vaccination required; medical/religious exemptions and declinations allowed

Important Notes

• Must be able to start on the posted date ONLY; no flexibility on start date
• 13 weeks and 36 hours per week only no exceptions
