• Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Day shift, 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM

Job Summary

This is a contract Patient Services Representative role based in Beverly Hills, CA, supporting a urology outpatient clinic. The position serves as the primary administrative and patient-facing resource for the clinic, handling scheduling, registration, insurance verification, referrals, and day-to-day patient relations both in person and by phone.

Key Responsibilities

• Primary point of contact for patient relations in person and by phone
• Greet patients and assist in resolving patient concerns and escalating as appropriate
• Check patients in/out and collect co-payments, give receipts, and reconcile payments
• Verify patient demographics and insurance information in CS-Link/Epic
• Schedule appointments and complete patient registration
• Process and track referrals and authorizations for various insurance types
• Handle patient/provider correspondence
• Explains policies, procedures, or services to patients
• Sanitize workspace using provided supplies and following department guidelines

Education Requirements

• High school diploma (HSD) or GED required

Required Experience

• Experience with medical insurance, referral processes, and benefit plans
• 1 year of recent experience working in an outpatient clinic or medical office setting

Nice-to-Have Experience

• 2 years of recent experience working as a Patient Service Representative

Required Skills

• Ability to read, understand, and respond to detailed oral and written instructions
• Experience with CS-Link/Epic

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of medical terminology
