Job Description
Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is seeking a Patient Services Representative to support a new provider patient enrollment initiative. The selected candidate will assist with enrolling more than 2,000 patients into concierge medical service plans by handling patient communications, explaining enrollment details, processing paperwork, and coordinating the enrollment process.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound patient calls and provide information about concierge medical service plans.
- Answer patient questions and explain available services, plan details, and enrollment procedures.
- Communicate professionally with patients and prospective members over the phone and through email.
- Send payment links, informational pamphlets, and enrollment forms to interested patients.
- Follow up with prospective patients regarding enrollment inquiries and required documentation.
- Process enrollment paperwork and verify that all required information is complete.
- Confirm patient enrollment and communicate next steps.
- Assist with patient check-in coverage during staff lunches and breaks.
- Provide patient chaperoning assistance during staff lunches and breaks.
- Maintain accurate enrollment records and patient-related documentation.
- Follow established procedures and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Provide a professional, welcoming, and positive patient experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 3 years of recent experience working in one or more of the following roles:
- Executive Assistant
- High-End Sales
- Patient Service Representative (PSR)
- Enrollment Specialist
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proper grammar.
- Ability to read, understand, and respond to detailed oral and written instructions.
- Two completed supervisor references required.
