Description

SNI Companies is working with a large radiology firm in Monmouth County, NJ who is seeking a Patient Services Representative. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient and accurate management of patients during their appointment. This role is 100% on site.

Responsibilities:
  • Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Assist patients in completing necessary forms and documents for medical records and services.
  • Provide information about the healthcare facility, services offered, and answer inquiries from patients and their families.
  • Retrieve and release medical records to authorized personnel and ensure proper authorization and documentation.
  • Process requests for medical records in a timely and efficient manner, maintaining accurate tracking and documentation.
  • Enter patient information into the electronic health record (EHR) system accurately and promptly.
  • Verify and update demographic and insurance information, ensuring accuracy and completeness of records.
  • Handle patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and empathetic manner, resolving issues promptly and effectively.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth communication and collaboration related to patient care and records.
  • Adhere to relevant healthcare laws, regulations, and compliance requirements regarding patient privacy, confidentiality, and medical records management.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in healthcare administration or related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, health information systems, and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
  • Proficient in using computer systems and software for data entry, record management, and communication.

Hours:
  • Monday- Friday 8am-4:30pm
  • Rotating Saturday shift about once a month
Pay Rate:
  • $20-$21 an hour
