Patient Services Representative Temporary

Functions and Responsibilities: candidate will be under the supervision of the Health Center Manager and will assist the Optical staff to great patients upon arrival, register patients, schedule patients, receive payment, work in the chart room, complete out-patient intake forms, and determine eligibility for patients ability to pay. May assist with other clerical responisiblities as needed.

Requirements

Education, Experience and Qualifications: Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. One year font desk / receptionist experience preferred, including: experience with medical billing, and patient scheduling programs, knowlege of electronic health records software and Nexgen software is preferred and other duties as needed. Knowledge of Medi-Cal and insurance billing desirable.
