    What You'll Do

    Help keep patients moving safely and efficiently throughout the hospital while providing a positive, compassionate experience. You'll transport patients and support multiple departments to ensure daily operations run smoothly.

    • Safely transport inpatients and outpatients to and from departments including Medical/Surgical, Perioperative Services, Diagnostic Imaging, Rehabilitation, Clinics, and Laboratory.
    • Deliver and retrieve medical equipment, patient supplies, office supplies, and departmental materials as assigned.
    • Complete and manage transportation documentation accurately while following established department procedures and safety guidelines.
    • Support Diagnostic Imaging and other departments during downtime by assisting with receptionist duties, scheduling appointments, patient registration, answering multi-line phones, and other clerical tasks as needed.
    • Performs a variety of tasks and other duties as assigned

    Who We're Looking For

    We're looking for a dependable, customer-focused team member who enjoys helping others and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The ideal candidate is organized, communicates effectively, and is committed to providing safe, compassionate service.

    • High school diploma or equivalent preferred, with two years of medical office experience preferred.
    • Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification required upon hire and maintained throughout employment.
    • Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with patients, families, providers, and colleagues. Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.
    • Strong organizational and computer skills, including Microsoft Office, with the ability to quickly learn new systems and prioritize multiple responsibilities.
    • Ability to become proficient within six months in Meditech, Galactica, PACS, Allscripts EHR/ED, Picom, Kronos, and HealthStream, while demonstrating safe patient transfer techniques and adherence to established protocols.

    • Pay Range: $17.50- $21.87/hour (based on experience)

    Compensation may vary outside this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
