Job Title: Payments Business Analyst (Swift, ISO 20022)

Location: Jersey City, NJ / New Castle, DE

Duration: Fulltime

Salary: 90K-105K/Year

Roles and Responsibilities:

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

1. Business & Functional Analysis

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for payments initiatives
• Translate business needs into clear functional specifications and user stories
• Conduct gap analysis between existing and proposed payment systems
• Create BRDs, FRDs, use cases, process flows, and functional specs

2. Payments Domain Expertise

• Work across key payments areas:

• Wire Payments (SWIFT, Fedwire, CHAPS)

• ACH / SEPA

• Real-Time Payments (RTP) / Faster Payments

• Cards & Merchant Payments

• Understand end-to-end payment lifecycle:

• Initiation Validation Clearing Settlement Reconciliation

Domain Skills

• Strong experience in Payments (mandatory)
• Knowledge of:
• ISO 20022
• SWIFT messaging (MT/MX)
• Payment hubs / core banking systems
