The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training and internal pay comparison. The Payroll Analyst is a key member of the Payroll team at Boston University. Reporting to the Associate Director of Payroll Tax and Reporting, they will assist with the remittances (including but are not limited to federal, state, and local withholding taxes and union dues deductions), reconciliation, and reporting of all payroll withholdings. This role will work with the Associate Director to ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations while supporting payroll operations and responding to tax-related inquiries.

Boston University supports a flexible work environment for authorized staff members. This position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement (i.e. remote work up to three (3) days per week), after completion of a successful observation period.
