Description
Responsibilities
This role requires candidates to be on-site 5 days a week (M-F) at our Rosemont Office.
Position Responsibilities:
Ensure timely, accurate payroll processing in compliance with government regulations as a Payroll Specialist
Manage and oversee the processing of multiple weekly and bi-weekly payrolls, ensuring full compliance with Collective Bargaining Agreements and contractual obligations
Guarantee the accuracy and timeliness of payroll processing while strictly adhering to all relevant federal and state regulations
Conduct thorough analysis of payroll issues, recommending and implementing corrective actions to improve efficiency and accuracy as a Payroll Specialist via MyTime
Collaborate effectively with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) to maintain system integrity and ensure compliance during payroll setup and updates
Provide comprehensive training and mentorship to team members, facilitating local training sessions as needed to enhance team skills and knowledge
Oversee and manage salary adjustments, deductions, bonuses, and payroll accounting, including the processing of final checks for both voluntary and involuntary employee separations
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
High School Diploma/General Education Diploma with 0 to 2 years of related experience
Preferred Education and Experience:
College Degree
Experience with UKG or Kronos Timekeeping System
