Payroll/ HR Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Payroll & Human Resources Specialist to join our team. This role combines payroll administration with key HR responsibilities, supporting employees and leaders across the organization while ensuring payroll accuracy, compliance, and a positive employee experience.


Key Responsibilities

-Process bi-weekly payroll for 450+ employees across multiple states

-Support monthly international payroll processing

-Audit payroll records, timecards, and resolve discrepancies

-Maintain payroll, benefits, leave, and employee records

-Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws

-Support onboarding, offboarding, and employee record management

-Coordinate training programs and maintain training documentation

-Assist with employee relations, recruiting activities, and compliance initiatives

-Partner with managers to address payroll and HR-related questions

-Support employee engagement and workplace safety programs

Qualifications

-5+ years of combined payroll and HR experience
-Strong understanding of payroll administration and employment law

-Experience with multi-state payroll processing

-Working knowledge of HRIS and payroll systems

-Intermediate to advanced Excel skills

-Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities

-Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

-Experience with employee relations and workplace investigations preferred

-International payroll or manufacturing experience is a plus
