Title: Payroll Operations Manager
Salary: $80,000–$110,000 + approximately 10% discretionary bonus
Location: Rockland, MA | Fully onsite

A rapidly growing construction company is seeking a Payroll Operations Manager to take ownership of payroll and help bring the function fully in house. This hands-on role offers the opportunity to shape processes, work directly with the Controller, and become a key partner to accounting and operations.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead accurate, timely weekly payroll for a high volume, multi state workforce
• Manage certified payroll reporting and prevailing wage compliance
• Review and validate payroll before submission through Paychex
• Maintain employee payroll records, deductions, changes, and tax compliance
• Prepare payroll reconciliations and reports
• Partner with accounting and operations to resolve issues and strengthen payroll processes

What You’ll Bring:

• 5+ years of payroll experience, including construction payroll
• Hands-on experience with certified payroll and prevailing wage requirements
• Experience managing multi state payroll internally
• Strong Excel skills and comfort working with payroll systems
• Attention to detail, a proactive approach, and the ability to own deadlines
• Paychex experience is a plus
