As a Payroll Specialist, you'll coordinate payroll operations from start to finish while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely service. You'll work closely with a collaborative payroll team to deliver dependable support to clients across multiple states.
What You'll Do
As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for
Processing payroll for employees across multiple states while meeting strict deadlines and accuracy standards
Reviewing timesheets, earnings, deductions, commissions, bonuses, and tax information for completeness and accuracy
Applying applicable federal, state, and local payroll requirements
Maintaining accurate employee records and handling benefits, garnishments, deductions, and related documentation
Collaborating with internal teams to coordinate payroll, billing, and administrative activities
What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have
A high school diploma or equivalent; additional education in accounting, business, or a related field is a plus
Four or more years of high-volume payroll processing or payroll administration experience
A solid understanding of payroll taxes, regulations, and compliance requirements
Experience with ADP, Paychex, or similar payroll platforms, along with Excel, and strong attention to detail
