Payroll Specialist

Our client located in the Keene, NH area is looking for a Payroll Specialist to join their team!  

Your qualifications for the Payroll Specialist position are as follows:

• High School Diploma
• 2+ years recent/relevant payroll experience
• Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office Excel 
• Experience with accounting/payroll software required
• Experience with Paychex software is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Professional verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively with shifting priorities to meet deadlines

• Full time schedule Monday – Friday    
• $24-$29/hour depending on skills and experience

As the Payroll Specialist your duties will include:

• Process payroll 
• Prepare and pay taxes
• Reconcile accounts
• Track and manage retirement benefit data
• Ensure accurate employee/payroll data 
• Assist employees with payroll question
• Ensure compliance with Federal/State/Local standards
• Other projects and duties as assigned
