• Working on a team of 5, the Payroll Specialist will collaborate and also be able to suggest process improvement

• Hybrid work schedule

Responsibilities of the Payroll Specialist:

• 
  
• Processing payroll for 1,000 employees including:
  
  • 
    
  • Checking and auditing time sheets
  • 
    
  • Processing any amended timecards
  • 
    
  • Managing file upkeep in accordance with local, state, and federal payroll compliance
  • 
    
  • Create weekly tax deposits
  • 
    
  
  
• 
  
• Answering employee questions regarding paychecks
• 
  
• Collaborating with the Team Lead, processing paid time off accrual based on union contracts
• 
  

Background Expected of the Payroll Specialist:

• 
  
• 3+ years' experience in payroll processing
• 
  
• Union payroll processing is a plus but not a requirement
• 
  
• Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree is a plus, but will not be accepted in lieu of experience for the Payroll Specialist
