We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to support weekly payroll data operations.

Responsibilities of Payroll Specialist

• 
  
• Process weekly and biweekly payroll, including audits and balancing.
• 
  
• Maintain employee payroll records and process new hires.
• 
  
• Review and validate timekeeping, PTO, holiday, and overtime pay.
• 
  
• Process garnishments, levies, union payroll, and employment verifications.
• 
  
• Prepare W-2s and support payroll tax and reporting requirements.
• 
  
• Handle payroll adjustments, manual checks, and direct deposits.
• 
  
• Assist with payroll reconciliations and compliance activities.
• 
  
• Support payroll-related employee inquiries and issue resolution.
• 
  
• Ensure compliance with company policies and payroll regulations.
• 
  
• Maintain accurate payroll documentation and records.
• 
  

Qualifications of Payroll Specialist

• 
  
• Experience in a Payroll Specialist or similar data entry role preferred
• 
  
• Strong Excel skills, including filtering, sorting, importing, and exporting data
• 
  
• Union payroll knowledge is required
• 
  
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
•
