This Payroll Specialist will play an important role in maintaining accurate, timely, and compliant payroll operations in a high-volume environment. The team utilizes UKG Pro and established processes to support employees across North America.

Payroll Specialist Key Responsibilities

• Support North American employees and third-party administrators throughout the employee lifecycle, from hire through retirement.

• The Payroll Specialist will perform payroll processing functions in UKG Pro using established procedures.

• Ensure payroll practices meet applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.

• Maintain accurate payroll records in accordance with company policies and compliance standards.

• The Payroll Specialist will audit payroll data to ensure accuracy and timely processing.

• Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to payroll procedures and documentation.

• The Payroll Specialist will partner with internal stakeholders to support efficient payroll operations.

Qualifications of the Payroll Specialist

• 
  

• Degree in an accounting-related field or a combination of accounting/HR education and relevant experience.

• 3–4 years of payroll experience, ideally supporting multi-state and/or union environments.

  
  
• 
  

• Experience with computerized payroll systems; UKG Pro strongly preferred.

  
  
• 
  

• Advanced Excel skills and solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

• Strong organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills.
