JOB TITLE
Payroll Specialist
LOCATION
Scottsdale, 85254 | Hybrid
ROLE SUMMARY:
Process high-volume payroll, manage employee earnings and deductions, and resolve payroll questions for employees and managers. This role maintains accurate payroll and timekeeping data, supports garnishments and manual checks, and helps ensure timely payroll distribution.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process payroll and update employee information in payroll and timekeeping systems.
- Review, calculate, and submit garnishments accurately and on time.
- Process earnings and deduction requests and related spreadsheets.
- Troubleshoot data issues in UKG Pro and Workforce Dimensions.
- Generate accurate manual checks as needed.
- Ensure payroll checks are distributed to field employees on time.
- Research and resolve payroll inquiries from employees and managers.
- Support payroll projects and manage assigned work independently.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or general education degree.
- 3 to 5 years of experience processing high-volume payroll.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Reliable attendance.
- UKG Pro experience is preferred.
Hours: Full time, 40 hours weekly
Benefits: Eligible
Pay: Up to $29/hourly dependent on experience
