In this position you will be working in a 25 bed Progressive Care/Telemetry Unit that primarily cares for patients with chest pain waiting for stress testing, cath labs, hypertensive urgency, CVA, TIA, altered mental status, sepsis, peritoneal dialysis, continuous BiPAP. Drips such as cardizem, amiodarone, heparin, lasix, protonix, and others.
What you will do in this role:
Partner with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high quality, patient-centered care.
Assist with admission and discharge processes.
Partner with subject matter experts and leadership team to support improved outcomes and service.
Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement.
Assist with staff scheduling.
Qualifications
What qualifications you will need:
Registered Nurse
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor, or CPR must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
ACLS with 30 days of hire
NIHSS Stroke Certification within 30 days of hire
Candidate must have previous Charge Nurse experience to be considered
