Join Our Dynamic Healthcare Team as a PCU Registered Nurse!

Are you a compassionate and experienced RN ready to make a difference in a fast-paced, specialized unit? We’re seeking a dedicated PCU Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care to adult and geriatric patients in a reputable teaching hospital. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a diverse clinical environment, honing your skills while contributing to healing and recovery.

What You Bring to the Table:
  • Valid RN license with current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent PCU experience, preferably in a teaching hospital setting
  • Strong clinical skills with experience in burn dressings, flap checks, leech therapy, and similar procedures
  • Proficiency with EPIC documentation and Pyxis medication system
  • Excellent communication, critical thinking, and team collaboration skills
  • Ability to float within the facility as needed and work 12-hour night shifts (7:00PM - 7:30AM) with every other or third weekend commitment

Additional Skills That Help You Stand Out:
  • Previous charge RN experience or leadership roles
  • Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations and complex medical cases
  • Familiarity with surgical procedures including plastic/reconstructive, urology, GYN, ENT, and oral/maxillofacial surgeries

Preferred Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or higher
  • Prior experience in a teaching hospital environment

Other Important Details:
  • Location offers convenient parking options (Wexner Medical Center Garage, West Campus surface lots, or shuttle services)
  • Competitive hourly pay rate of $59.18 along with comprehensive benefits, weekly pay via direct deposit, paid sick time, and travel reimbursements where applicable
  • Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30), with every other/third weekend required and floating within OSU
