POSITION SUMMARY Physical Education Teacher with a bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or related and at least three years of experience with elementary, middle, and high school children. In addition, the following skills: ensure a positive environment, communicate effectively, maintain accurate record keeping. The Physical Education Teacher is dedicated, student focused and committed to providing an interactive learning environment. The Physical Education Teacher collaborates with all members of the school community to meet the needs of students and promote the philosophy of school. EDUCATION: BA in Physical Education (Masters preferred). PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to function under fast paced and noisy conditions; May require being active for long periods of time; hear and understand speech at normal levels; speak in audible tones so that others may understand clearly; physical agility to push, pull, lift and or carry up to 50 pounds.
