Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Pediatric Anesthesiologist to join our expanding and highly collaborative team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing division within one of the nation’s premier pediatric healthcare systems, practicing in a high-acuity environment supported by a strong team of physicians and advanced practice providers. 

 

The selected candidate will provide 100% pediatric anesthesia care, including medically directing CRNAs, SRNAs, and residents, while also maintaining an independent clinical practice. Our case mix spans all major pediatric subspecialties, with the exception of solid organ transplant and cardiac anesthesia and includes care at the only Level I Pediatric Trauma Center in Central Florida.

Practice Environment 

  • 9 Operating Rooms | 2 MRI suites | 1 Interventional Radiology suite | 1 GI Suite
  • Average of ~8 cases per shift  
  • Fully integrated Epic EMR system  
  • Supported by a physician-led, professionally managed healthcare system 

Position Highlights 

  • Join a growing team of 9 physicians supported by ~12 CRNAs/CAAs 
  • CAA with CRNA’s medical direction model   
  • High-acuity, diverse pediatric case mix across all subspecialties
  • 100% pediatric focus in a collaborative, team-oriented environment 

Schedule & Work-Life Balance 

  • 14 shifts per month (base requirement)
  • Nights and weekends limited to urgent/emergency cases only  
  • Schedule developed by Division Chief to support team balance
  • Maximum of four call days per month, including only one weekend day. A guaranteed post-call day off is provided following each call shift 

Compensation & Benefits 

  • Base salary: $540,000
  • Compensation is based on the number of monthly shifts, call responsibilities, and physician performance, with earning potential up to $700,000 annually

  • Completion of an ACGME or AOA-accredited residency and fellowship
