About the Role:
Doylestown Pediatric Dental LLC is looking for a passionate and energetic Pediatric Dental Assistant to join our growing team in Doylestown, PA! Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist chairside during pediatric dental procedures including cleanings, fillings, and extractions
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and operatories between patient appointments
• Take and develop dental X-rays (bitewings, periapicals, panoramic) following safety protocols
• Build rapport with young patients and parents to reduce dental anxiety and ensure a positive experience
• Document patient records, treatment notes, and medical histories accurately in dental software
• Educate patients and parents on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care
• Manage supply inventory and assist with front office coordination as needed

Requirements:

• Prior dental assisting experience preferred; pediatric dental experience is a strong plus
• Dental assistant certification or completion of an accredited dental assisting program preferred
• Radiography (X-ray) certification required or ability to obtain upon hire
• CPR/BLS certification required or willingness to obtain
• Warm, patient, and nurturing demeanor with a natural ability to connect with children
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a clinical setting
• Excellent communication skills with both pediatric patients and their parents/guardians
