About the Role:
Bartley Dentistry in Windsor, CT is looking for a motivated and caring Dental Assistant to join our team! Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist chairside during a variety of dental procedures including cleanings, fillings, and extractions
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and treatment rooms between patients
• Take and develop dental X-rays as directed
• Greet patients, review medical histories, and ensure patient comfort throughout visits
• Document patient records and treatment notes accurately in dental software
• Educate patients on post-treatment care and proper oral hygiene practices
• Manage inventory and order dental supplies as needed

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; dental assisting certification or training preferred
• Experience as a dental assistant or in a dental office setting is a plus
• Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments
• Radiology certification or willingness to obtain one
• Strong interpersonal skills with a warm, patient-centered approach
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Reliable, punctual, and a true team player
