    Description

    We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pediatric Dentist or a General Dentist that loves treating kids. Our client is a private office that has built a stellar reputation over the years.

    Their two offices are very nice and modern. They have a wonderful and very tenured staff. The owner can also offer great mentoring or collaboration and he's offering a very competitive compensation package. A pediatric dentist would have the ability to do bigger cases under sedation or at a surgery center in the future.

    Responsibilities

    • Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments, focusing on pediatric needs.
    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and medical histories.
    • Utilize medical imaging technologies to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
    • Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and security of patient information.
    • Apply aseptic techniques during procedures to ensure patient safety and infection control.
    • Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to provide seamless patient care.
    • Stay current with advancements in dental technology and practices, including the use of dental software for record management.

    Qualifications

    • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) from an accredited institution.
    • Valid dental license to practice in the state.
    • Experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred, particularly with pediatrics .
    • Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and relevant software applications (Eaglesoft, Epic).
    • Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy and data security.
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on patient education and comfort.
    • Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating independent decision-making skills.
