Description
The Staff Pad is proud to partner with a respected hospice provider in the DFW Metroplex, seeking a compassionate Pediatric RN Case Manager to provide exceptional hospice care to children and their families in the comfort of their homes.
Reporting to the Managing Director - Hospice, the Pediatric RN Case Manager, will provide skilled nursing care to pediatric hospice patients while coordinating all aspects of their care. Working alongside an interdisciplinary team, physicians, and community partners, you'll help ensure every child receives compassionate, dignified, and personalized care.

What You’ll Do
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive physical, psychosocial, and environmental patient assessments
Develop, implement, and document individualized plans of care
Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and the care team
Provide clinical guidance to Hospice Aides and LVNs and assist with training as needed
Complete pediatric admissions and prioritize patient scheduling
Participate in assigned on-call rotations for emergency patient support
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with infection control and agency policies
Support ongoing quality improvement and professional development
Perform other duties as assigned
What We Are Looking For
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Diploma, ADN, or BSN Nursing program
Current Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum one (1) year of pediatric RN experience in a clinical setting required
Hospice, Critical Care, or Emergency Room experience preferred
Current CPR certification
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance
Current TB testing and Hepatitis consent/declination documentation
Ability to pass a criminal background check

Field-based role with local travel and PRN on-call rotation
Ability to stand, walk, lift, and safely transfer up to 50 lbs
Perform clinical procedures requiring manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
Make sound clinical decisions in high-pressure situations; exposure to bloodborne pathogens and infectious diseases
