What You’ll Do
Provide inpatient care for neonatal and pediatric patients, including NICU management of preemies down to 32 weeks and newborn resuscitations
Manage neonatal air leaks, pneumothorax, and emergent UVC/UAC placements
Assist with neonatal intubations and lumbar punctures
Collaborate with ED and anesthesia teams on pediatric airway management and emergency procedures
Support complex neonatal cases and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
Document patient care accurately and adhere to facility protocols
What You Need
Active California medical license
DEA certification
Board Certified or Eligible in Pediatrics or Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine (within 3-5 years of residency)
Minimum of 3+ years neonatal and pediatric hospitalist experience
Skills in neonatal airway management, UVC/UAC placement, and neonatal resuscitation
Preferred: Ventilator management and chest tube insertion in neonates
