    JOB REQUIREMENTS
    • Board: Board-certified in Pediatrics 
    • Active Virginia License
    • Experience: Minimum 1 year clinical activity; 6 months experience in pediatric hospitalist
    • Other Qualifications: Pre-screen questionnaire, detailed CV in MM/YYYY format with all gaps explained
    Duties & Responsibilities
    • Provide care for patients on a 17-bed pediatric floor and in the newborn nursery (supporting ~2400 annual deliveries)
    • Round on patients during 24-hour shifts, including call from home/hotel
    • Collaborate with daytime Advanced Practice Providers and a network of pediatric sub-specialists (UVA, INOVA, Children's National)
    • Engage in teaching and interdisciplinary collaboration
    • Participate in block scheduling for per diem coverage
