• Champion and direct workflows across high-impact specialty areas, including the PICU and ECMO.

• Drive Strategic & Clinical Excellence: Shape the future of patient care by developing visionary departmental goals and overseeing comprehensive clinical activities, from innovative care plans to top-tier service delivery.

• Empower and Develop Talent: Cultivate a high-performing culture by leading the hiring, training, mentorship, and professional growth of a dedicated nursing team.

• Optimize Operations & Resources: Collaborate directly with physicians and executive leadership to streamline operations, manage budgets efficiently, and ensure seamless resource utilization.

• Be a Catalyst for Growth: Act as a strategic problem-solver, removing operational obstacles to achieve peak clinical quality, financial health, and unparalleled service excellence.

What minimum qualifications you'll need:

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

 

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.
• Master's degree or combination of Bachelor's degree and experience preferred.

Work Experience:

• 5 years of experience required.
• 10 years of experience preferred.
• 2 years of leadership or management experience required.
• 5 years of leadership or management experience preferred.

What additional requirements you'll need:

• Pediatric experience strongly preferred
• Strong leadership and relationship building skills
