Arbor Therapy is looking for a Pediatric Occupational Therapist (1099 Contractor) to join our collaborative, multidisciplinary team at our Mesa clinic. At Arbor Therapy, we provide compassionate, evidence-based care to children and families across the East and West Valley of Phoenix. Our team works together to create individualized treatment plans that empower each child to reach their full potential. As our AAC program continues to expand, we are especially excited to welcome therapists interested in supporting communication in innovative ways.
Evaluate and treat fine motor, sensory, feeding, and activities of daily living
Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
Monitor client progress and adjust therapy approaches as needed
Educate and collaborate with parents and caregivers to support progress at home
Work alongside a multidisciplinary team including Speech-Language Pathologists and Physical Therapists
Complete timely and concise documentation
Master's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
Active Arizona Occupational Therapist license
Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
Interest or experience in early intervention and developmental disabilities
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Passion for ongoing learning and professional growth
Preferred (but not required):
Experience or interest in feeding therapy
Experience with AAC (Augmentative & Alternative Communication)
Bilingual skills
This role may require standing, kneeling, lifting, and floor-based therapy activities. Therapists work closely with pediatric clients who may have developmental, physical, behavioral, or sensory needs, requiring patience, adaptability, and a supportive approach.
