Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Warwick, RI

This part-time contract opportunity is perfect for passionate Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) and Speech Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) who are eager to make a difference through direct and teletherapy services. With a focus on pediatrics and school-age populations, you'll play an important role in improving communication skills and empowering young learners.

Qualifications & Experience Sought:

• Valid RI SLP license required
• RIDE certification (Rhode Island Department of Education) mandatory
• Experience working in schools, pediatrics, or healthcare settings highly desired
• SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, and SLPA backgrounds considered
• Skilled in both direct and teletherapy speech services
• Collaborative, adaptable professional approach
• Effective communication and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy to K-12 students, two days per week
• Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and deliver evidence-based interventions
• Collaborate with educators, families, and fellow specialists to best support each student
• Maintain detailed records and progress notes in compliance with school and state requirements
• Utilize digital therapy tools as needed for virtual therapy sessions
• Support a positive, inclusive learning environment for all students
