PEDIATRIC SPORTS PHYSICAL THERAPIST

We are seeking a Pediatric Sports Physical Therapist who is passionate about helping children and adolescents return to play safely and confidently. This role focuses on the evaluation, treatment, and prevention of sports-related injuries in pediatric and teenage athletes within a supportive, growth-oriented private practice. The ideal candidate enjoys collaborating with families, coaches, and interdisciplinary providers while delivering evidence-based, sport-specific care in a fun, motivating environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat pediatric and adolescent patients with sports-related and orthopedic conditions.
• Develop individualized, age-appropriate treatment plans focused on injury prevention, performance, and return to sport.
• Educate patients and families on injury prevention, home exercise programs, and safe return-to-play guidelines.
• Collaborate with physicians, athletic trainers, coaches, and other healthcare professionals as needed.

Olympic Sports & Spine (OSS) is looking to welcome a Pediatric Sports Physical Therapist to our outstanding South Hill clinic. Hours are Monday - Friday, 4x10s or 5x8s between 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Degree in Physical Therapy from an institution accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education.
2. Current Washington State Physical Therapist License or license applicant status.
3. Pediatrics, sports, or orthopedic clinical experience.
4. Background in athletics coaching or youth sports.
5. Strong communication skills with children, teens, and caregivers.
6. Ability to motivate young athletes and adapt treatment for developmental levels.

Preferred but not required

• SCS, CSCS, or working toward specialty certification.
