Job Summary:
Overland Park Regional Medical Center is seeking an experienced or newly graduated pediatric surgeon to join an employed practice serving Johnson County, Kansas and surrounding areas.Qualified Candidates:
- Program features a team of pediatric specialists including pediatric anesthesiologists performing inpatient procedures at OPRMC and outpatient procedures at our ambulatory surgery center
- Practice is heavily weighted to neonatal cases - 82 bed NICU
- Group offers shared call
- No trauma or ECMO call
- Option for general surgery resident teaching
- Board certified or board eligible in pediatric surgery
- Two experienced pediatric surgical APRNs with experience in pediatric colorectal management, chest wall deformities, neonatal care and outpatient pediatric surgery

- The hospital is the premier destination for Women & Children’s healthcare services with the regions only Maternal Fetal Health Center, Level III NICU, Neonatal and Maternal Transport Team, and Pediatric Center.
- Overland Park Regional Medical Center’s ER is Johnson County’s only Level II Trauma Center with two additional freestanding ERs in Olathe and Shawnee and a dedicated Pediatric ED.
- Surgical programs at OPRMC feature an outstanding surgical team utilizing advanced technology, such as robotic surgical systems.
