Required Skills:
Current New York State CNA certification
Ability to be certified/re-certified in CPR
Minimum of one year of patient care experience
Successful completion of pre-employment health clearance
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
Patient-focused with the ability to perform direct and indirect care activities
Knowledge of normal growth and development and patient safety protocols
Ability to respond effectively to changing patient needs and collaborate with healthcare team members
Strong problem-solving skills and commitment to quality improvement
Ability to maintain a safe working environment and positive public relations
Proficient in obtaining, recording, exchanging, and conveying patient information
Committed to personal and professional growth, making decisions based on ethical principles
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience working specifically in pediatrics
Bilingual abilities
Additional certifications in healthcare or patient safety
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
Preferred Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent
At least one year of direct pediatric patient care experience in a healthcare setting
Other Requirements:
Ability to work an 8-hour day shift
Availability to start on or after May 1, 2026
Travel reimbursements, licensure, certification, and other applicable reimbursements offered as needed
