Job Title: PEGA Technical BSA
Location: Hybrid - Rochester, NY
Tax Term (W2, C2C): W2
Job Type (Permanent/Contract): Contract
Duration: Long Term
Pay Range: $60- $65/hr
Description:
Healthcare domain knowledge is a must.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Has practical exposure to Pega PCS framework.
- Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and DCO sessions.
- Understand business processes, pain points, and objectives.
- Gather and document:
- Business Requirements (BRD)
- Functional Requirements (FRD)
- Use Cases & Process Flows
- Perform gap analysis (current vs. future state).
- Convert requirements into:
- User Stories & Acceptance Criteria
- Case Types, Flows, Stages, and SLAs
- Define:
- Business Rules
- Data Mappings
- UI/UX Logic (Screen Mockups)
- Ensure the solution aligns with Pega framework capabilities.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies:
- Backlog Grooming
- Sprint Planning
- Daily Stand-ups
- Sprint Demos
- Create and manage Product Backlog Items (PBIs).
- Prioritize and refine user stories with the Product Owner.
- Work closely with:
- Lead System Architect (LSA)
- Senior System Architect (SSA)
- Developers
- Clarify requirements and constraints.
- Validate the feasibility of business requirements in Pega.
- Support:
- System Integration Testing (SIT)
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Responsibilities include:
- Defining acceptance criteria
- Reviewing test cases
- Validating solutions against requirements
- Ensuring BA sign-off before test execution
- Act as the single point of contact between business stakeholders and the IT team.
- Conduct:
- Playback sessions
- Demos
- Requirement clarification calls
- Manage stakeholder expectations and drive approvals.

- User Stories with Acceptance Criteria
- Process Maps / Workflows
- Data Models / Mappings
- UI Mockups / Wireframes

- 8+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst/Business Analyst.
- Practical exposure to the Pega PCS Framework.
- Strong experience in Agile environments.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
- Mandatory experience in the Healthcare domain.
