Job Description

This PRN role is intended to provide coverage support. While the position is classified as PRN/as-needed, we are able to offer up to 40 hours per week depending on department needs.

Carolina Physical Therapy is hiring a Pelvic Health Physical Therapist to join our energetic outpatient clinic in North Charleston. If you're passionate about pelvic health and enjoy a collaborative, patient-centered environment, we'd love to meet you!

What You'll Do: Evaluate and treat pelvic floor dysfunction in men and women, including incontinence, bowel dysfunction, pre/post-natal issues, and related conditions

Assess patients and develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation findings

Design and implement customized treatment programs using manual therapy, exercise, and patient education

Review physician referrals and relevant medical records to determine appropriate physical therapy treatment

Provide direct patient care in accordance with established protocols and patient care guidelines

Educate and empower patients and caregivers throughout their rehabilitation and wellness journey

Document evaluations, treatment plans, patient progress, and patient/caregiver instructions in a timely manner

Collaborate and communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, physicians, insurance providers, and clinic team members

Supervise and be responsible for patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians

Complete required documentation including initial evaluations, progress reports, daily notes, discharge summaries, and incident reports

Qualifications Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program

Current state South Carolina license

CPR certification

Exercise, sports rehab, and manual-based skills

Outgoing and energetic personality

Responsible individual with a solid work ethic

Excellent communication and people skills
