. You'll work in close, daily coordination with a urogynecology and pelvic reconstruction surgeon, two advanced practice providers, a colorectal surgeon, and our women's primary care team - evaluating, planning, and delivering individualized treatment for a diverse patient population spanning ages 18 to 90+. This is a high-collaboration, high-learning environment where your clinical voice is part of a larger conversation about patient care every week.

Responsibilities

  • Treat a broad range of pelvic health conditions, including urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, constipation, and complex pre- and post-operative pelvic reconstruction cases across a diverse patient population, ages 18 to 90+
  • Opportunity to participate in teaching two patient education classes: a Perioperative Group Class for patients preparing for pelvic reconstruction surgery, and a Pelvic Health Foundations Group Class supporting broader community access to care
  • Participate in weekly interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases and coordinate care across specialties
  • Communicate effectively with patients, surgeons, APPs, and primary care colleagues to ensure seamless, whole person care

Position Summary

The Physical Therapist is an exciting opportunity at MultiCare, evaluating, planning, and implementing medically prescribed treatment programs for patients to restore functions, relieve pain and prevent disability following disease or injury. This professional-level position gives you the capacity for independent operations as you apply discretion and good judgment toward ensuring high-quality therapeutic care.

Responsibilities

  • You will perform well in stress and emergency situations
  • You will perform patient evaluations/re-evaluations, establish a treatment plan, and modify the treatment plan according to the needs of the patient and response to treatment
  • You will perform treatment interventions for outpatient and/or inpatient population as directed
  • You will perform documentation in the medical record that is timely and accurate
  • You will communicate well with patients, peers, other health professionals in the coordination of care for the patients

Requirements

  • Successful completion of state board examination
  • Currently licensed to practice physical therapy in the State of Washington
  • Experience in orthopedic, neurologic, cardiac patient management desirable

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $49.36 - $74.81 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
