JOB SUMMARY
This position supports and assists the People Development function by performing a variety of administrative, technical, and people-focused duties. The core function is conducting time and payroll processing, however, will also provide support for recruiting activities, contribute to People Development reporting and compliance tracking, oversee the onboarding of new employees, and participate in cross-functional initiatives to enhance both operational efficiency and the employee experience.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
May include any and/or all of the following:
- Maintain Payroll system, setting up new employees, approving and updating requested changes to pay, benefits, benefit accruals, as well as monitoring automatic updates processing from the HRIS system.
- Maintain Time and Attendance system, approving and updating requested changes as necessary. Process timecards for each payroll, monitoring for accuracy of input, as well as balancing hours for payroll.
- Assist employees and managers with questions regarding payroll and TLM systems and policies.
- Prepare, balance, and transmit payroll from payroll documentation submitted for updates.
- Serve as a member of the NEO training team, conducting portions of the New Employee Orientation (NEO) onboarding efforts for payroll items.
- Coordinate the BalancedComp Payroll system with the ADP Payroll system, ensuring accuracy of information from the HRIS payroll system to the BalancedComp system, providing reporting and analysis as needed.
- Serve as the data analyst related to People Development related statistics, working with the ADP Analytics Cloud system as well as gathering other pertinent information within the department to prepare reports.
- Prepare annual merit increase and ICP spreadsheets utilizing ADP, BalancedComp, and Microsoft Excel, as well as providing analysis as needed.
- Create external written communications to aid in the recruitment process for both formal as well as more conversational advertisements. Create internal employee communications to share pertinent employee information on the intranet.
- Support the People Development area with general staffing coverage.
- Access to ePHI may be required to complete job duties for this role. It will be accessed only as needed and within the HIPAA Compliance rules. Training will be provided on an annual basis to ensure the employee is up to date with HIPAA Regulations.
- Assists department in carrying out various human resources programs and procedures for all employees.
- Will provide higher level support to recruiting and training functions.
- May assist with applicant flow in reviewing, decisioning, processing applications, making calls to applicants for interview time coordination, screenings, and conducting pre-employment process.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
Critical Development Experiences:

Education and experience equivalent to:
One to three years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience
Degree in Human Resources or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
REQUIREMENTS
Regular attendance and timeliness are essential functions of this position. While performing this job, the employee is regularly required to sit or stand for a significant period of time and perform functions that require manual dexterity. The employee must occasionally reach above or below normal body position, stoop or bend, and carry, lift or move objects weighing up to 25 pounds. A normal range of hearing, vision, and speech are required to effectively work with co-employees and members.
