    Position Overview

    Tap Healthcare Solutions is seeking an experienced and strategic People Services Director to lead human resources operations in Elko, Nevada. This senior leadership role is responsible for overseeing HR functions including employee relations, labor relations, talent acquisition, compliance, performance management, and workforce development.

    The People Services Director will partner closely with organizational leaders to foster a positive workplace culture, support employee engagement initiatives, and ensure compliance with employment laws and organizational policies. This position offers competitive compensation ranging from approximately $101,000 to $136,000 annually based on experience and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a healthcare-focused organization.

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Organizational Leadership, or a related field.
    • Minimum of seven (7) years of progressive Human Resources leadership experience.
    • Experience leading multiple HR disciplines, including:
      • Employee Relations
      • Labor Relations
      • Talent Acquisition and Recruitment
      • Compliance and Regulatory Programs
      • Performance Management
      • Workforce Development
    • Experience supervising and developing HR professionals and support staff.
    • Strong leadership, communication, conflict resolution, and organizational skills.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Labor Relations experience, including:
      • Union environments
      • Collective bargaining agreement administration
      • Grievance management
      • Arbitration preparation and support
    • Healthcare HR experience, preferably within an acute care hospital setting.
    • Professional HR certifications such as:
      • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP
      • PHR or SPHR
    • Experience working in rural healthcare environments.
    • Experience supporting a multi-union workforce.
