- Perform a variety of MRI imaging procedures and functions that require independent judgment and ingenuity with minimal supervision, on members/patients of all age groups.
- Prepare and position patients accurately for specific examinations, observing different and special requirements for each protocol, ensuring proper documentation.
- Assume responsibilities for designated areas of MRI Equipment , producing high-quality technical images and reviewing completed exams for quality and completeness.
- Troubleshoot departmental technical issues according to correct procedural guidelines.
- Practice and employ ALARA principles for all patients and Members.
- Ensure all QC sheets are completed accurately
- Review schedule for any gaps in coverage

Requirements
- Previous experience with Siemens 3.0T Systems required
- 5-10 years of MRI experience, previous supervisory experience preferred
- Must be a graduate from an accredited radiography school or hospital-based program.
- Certification: ARRT (MR) Certified and in good standing.
- California State License (CRT).
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Yearly MRI Safety Certification (Level 2) required.
- Commitment: Ability to work extended hours or emergency shifts if necessary to maintain safe department coverage.
- (ARRT). Continuing education requirements need to be upheld to meet the standards set forth by governing bodies. Current standards are 24 ECE credits over a two-year period depending on year of birth.
- IV certification preferred or by completion of 6-months’ orientation.
- MRI safety certification level 2 required yearly.
- Preferred Qualification
MRSO/ MRSE certification from American Board of Magnetic Resonance Safety - Schedule
- Potential for weekend availability as we scale west coast region
