About the Role:Karing Hearts Home Health is looking for a compassionate and skilled Per Diem RN to join our Home Infusion team in East Bakersfield, CA. This is a rewarding opportunity to deliver high-quality, patient-centered infusion therapy in the comfort of patients' homes. Responsibilities:- Administer IV infusion therapies including antibiotics, TPN, chemotherapy, and hydration in the home setting
- Perform patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and evaluate response to infusion treatments
- Educate patients and caregivers on infusion therapy, medication management, and safety protocols
- Insert, maintain, and troubleshoot peripheral and central venous access devices (PICC lines, ports, etc.)
- Accurately document patient care, clinical notes, and medication administration in compliance with regulatory standards
- Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and care team members to coordinate patient treatment plans
- Respond to patient concerns and on-call needs as required on a per diem basis
Requirements:- Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum 1-2 years of IV/infusion therapy or home health nursing experience preferred
- Proficiency with central venous access devices, PICC lines, and infusion pumps
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and patient education abilities
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation for home visits
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a home care environment
- CPR/BLS certification required
