About the Role:
Karing Hearts Home Health is looking for a compassionate and skilled Per Diem RN to join our Home Infusion team in beautiful Santa Barbara, CA. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives by delivering high-quality infusion therapy in the comfort of their own homes. Responsibilities:

• Administer IV infusion therapies including antibiotics, TPN, hydration, and specialty medications in patients' homes
• Perform thorough patient assessments and monitor responses to infusion treatments
• Educate patients and caregivers on infusion therapy, medication management, and safety protocols
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and manage IV access devices including PICCs, ports, and central lines
• Accurately document patient care, clinical notes, and treatment plans in compliance with regulatory standards
• Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and the care team to coordinate and optimize patient outcomes
• Respond to patient concerns and on-call needs as required per diem schedule

Requirements:

• Active California RN license in good standing
• Minimum 1-2 years of IV/infusion therapy or home health nursing experience preferred
• Proficiency in peripheral and central venous access, PICC line care, and infusion pump operation
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities
• Valid California driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance
• CPR/BLS certification required
• Ability to work independently with a flexible, per diem schedule
