Job Summary

This is a per diem position required to work all Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.Supervises and coordinates the daily activities of retail cafeteria personnel involved in food preparation, customer service, and front-of-house operations. Coordinates cashiering processes, monitors food display sections, and functionally supervises employees to ensure a smooth, efficient retail cafeteria operation.Does this position require Patient Care?NoEssential Functions

• Balances cash registers, reconciles daily retail sales, and prepares bank deposits accurately.
• Monitors and inspects all retail cafeteria sections to ensure staff are performing regular temperature checks and maintaining food safety standards.
• Prepares employee work schedules and assigns personnel to stations to meet daily production and service demands.
• Inspects food displays and stations to ensure all items meet prescribed standards for presentation, temperature, and proper portioning.
• Estimates daily and weekly food and supply requirements, coordinates inventory needs, and maintains department records, compliance logs, and files.
• Prepares and/or supervises the preparation of a wide range of hot and cold dishes for retail cafeteria service.
