Performance Load Test Architect/Lead

Summary:

This is a remote position with occasional travel required. The successful candidate will define and own the overall performance engineering strategy, develop enterprise performance testing standards, and lead performance testing initiatives across various platforms and applications.

Responsibilities:

• Define and manage the performance engineering strategy.
• Develop standards, governance, methodologies, and best practices for performance testing.
• Define workload models using historical production metrics and anticipated business growth.
• Establish non-functional requirements, service level objectives, service level agreements, and performance acceptance criteria.
• Lead performance planning activities for various phases of the software development lifecycle.
• Review solution architecture to identify scalability risks and performance bottlenecks.
• Provide technical leadership for capacity planning and infrastructure sizing.
• Lead performance testing across multiple platforms including SAP BRIM, SAP S/4HANA, CRM, APIs, and more.
• Define enterprise load profiles for various operations.
• Review and approve performance test plans, scripts, and execution schedules.
• Define and implement an enterprise monitoring strategy.
• Analyze application performance metrics and lead root-cause analysis.
• Recommend tuning, optimization, and scaling improvements.
• Validate system readiness for production deployment.
• Lead implementation and administration of NeoLoad.
• Develop performance dashboards and executive reporting.
• Present performance status and strategies to executive leadership.
• Document all work associated with this position.
• Adhere to all standards, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications:

• 12 years of overall IT experience.
• 8 years of experience in enterprise performance engineering and load testing.
• 5 years of experience leading performance testing initiatives.
• Expert-level experience with NeoLoad.
• Experience with SAP BRIM, SAP S/4HANA, CRM platforms, APIs, and enterprise integrations.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• NeoLoad certification preferred.
• Cloud certifications (Azure or AWS) are preferred.

Engagement Requirements:

• Candidate must reside within the Continental United States.
• Must pass background checks prior to starting.
• The position is hybrid/remote with occasional onsite presence required.
• In-person interviews or work sessions may be required.
• Must attend an orientation session onsite.
