Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Radiologic Technologist to perform mobile X-Ray procedures across various settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities, correctional institutions, and home health environments. This role offers night shift work with opportunities to work independently while providing high-quality imaging services to diverse patient populations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate portable digital (DR) or computed radiography (CR) equipment to perform diagnostic X-Rays, ensuring images meet clinically diagnostic standards.
- Prepare and transport portable X-Ray equipment into various facilities, following safety and infection control protocols.
- Process and submit X-Ray images promptly to radiologists for interpretation.
- Perform EKGs when required and transmit results to cardiologists for review.
- Accurately scan and document exam-related paperwork and billing information daily.
- Maintain and ensure the proper functioning of all X-Ray and vehicle equipment, adhering to safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, management, colleagues, and clients to coordinate services and ensure patient comfort and safety.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- ARRT Certification required.
- Valid state licensure (reimbursement provided after 90 days of employment).
- Ability to lift and push/pull heavy equipment, sometimes exceeding 50 lbs, with the use of tools such as ramps and pulleys.
- Strong attention to detail, technical competence, and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a mobile, dynamic environment.
