As a Radiologic Technologist specializing in mobile X-Ray and EKG services, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging to patients in nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other designated locations, ensuring timely and accurate interpretation for treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform portable digital (DR) and computed radiography (CR) X-Ray exams at various healthcare and residential facilities.
- Ensure the acquisition of clinically diagnostic, technically competent images, submitting or transmitting them to Radiologists for interpretation in a timely manner.
- Operate and unload portable X-Ray equipment, adhering to safety and quality standards.
- Conduct EKG procedures as needed and transmit results to Cardiologists for review.
- Process and scan exam documentation, billing records, and related paperwork daily, maintaining accurate records.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, management, healthcare staff, and clients to coordinate services smoothly.
- Maintain and ensure the proper functioning of X-Ray equipment and accompanying vehicles, including routine cleaning and safety checks.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and corporate policies to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and patients.
Qualifications:
- Valid ARRT certification required.
- State of California licensure reimbursement provided after 90 days of employment.
- Strong technical skills in portable X-Ray and EKG procedures.
- Ability to lift and push/pull equipment weighing 50-100 lbs., utilizing vehicle ramps and pulleys as needed.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; professional interaction with team members and clients.
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
