JOB DESCRIPTION:

Renewal by Andersen is looking for a Permitting & Inspection Coordinator to join their Capital region team! The Coordinator ensures that permits are obtained and inspections are completed successfully, in coordination with installation activities.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build and maintain relationships with permitting expeditor and building inspectors from local municipalities

  • Act as liaison between installation crews, service associates and inspectors.

  • Coordinate with installation schedules & municipalities to schedule post-installation jobsite inspections

  • Coordinate with installation crews to ensure completion commitments are met prior to inspector arrival at job site. Meet with inspectors at jobsites as required.

  • Follow up with municipalities to ensure all jobs are finalized within timing requirements.

  • Investigate & resolve code compliance issues with local building officials and installation department.

  • Visit 2-4 jobsites weekly and perform walk-through installation inspection; report findings to management.

  • Update computer systems with current & accurate information regarding jobsites.

  • Perform onsite inspections; communicate required items to homeowners; perform assessments of jobsites with outstanding customer issues as required.

SECONDARYRESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Back-up/support installation schedulers.

  • Perform minor warranty service as needed.

  • Other duties as required.

DIRECTION OF OTHERS:     

Does not directly supervise others, but leads & coordinates resources from a variety of work groups.

QUALIFICATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Knowledge of construction and/or window industry; construction management or coordination experience preferred; Renewal installation procedure knowledge preferred.

  • Knowledge of building permit requirements

  • Knowledge of universal building code requirements

  • Solid computer skills, including MS Office and database applications

  • Demonstrated organizational skills

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently

PAY RANGE:

$24.50 - $35.50

PROFIT SHARING: In 2026 Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $3,600 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit Sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
